Présentation du sujet
The workshop objective is to discuss roles and functions of digital libraries as content providers within e-learning applications and services. Central questions here are, among others, the possible and context adapted use or reuse of records composing a digital library; the relevant production, management and publishing technologies for doing this; pragmatically relevant description and indexing of digital library records; the integration of e-learning standards in the description of records of a digital library; the definition and use of e-learning publishing standards; the definition of appropriate organizational and workflow models taking into account the new, “virtual” cooperation between the traditionally separated activities of librarians and teachers.
The workshop will present also results and ongoing researches of a current European project under the programme Leonardo da Vinci II:
