"Les mythes et les contes ont-ils encore un sens ?"
Christine VAN RUYMBEKE :
Tale of the first chapter of the fables "Kalila and Dimna" Christine Van Ruymbeke tells the first chapter of "Kalila and Dimna ". This is a history of Kalila and Dimna, two jackals of modest origin. Dimna, in spite of the dissuasion of his brother Kalila, succeeds in accomplishing his ambition to become the first adviser of Lion king. By tricks, by dishonest and immoral ways, Dimna transforms friendship between Lion and the kind Bull in mutual fear which ends by the murder of the Bull by Lion. This history represents a real lesson for young ambitious princes, by showing how to evict rivals on the way towards the post of the first adviser of the monarch.
